Enterprise transformation

Enterprise ERPNext transformation — IT services company (1000+ employees)

Problem: A Bangalore-based IT services company with 1000+ employees was running disconnected systems — a standalone recruitment platform, manual asset tracking in spreadsheets, and siloed communication tools. HR spent 15+ hours weekly on manual resume screening. Asset teams had no centralised visibility across departments. No single sign-on existed — staff juggled multiple logins daily.

Solution: Single-handedly architected and delivered a phased ERPNext transformation:

  • Asset management — Replaced spreadsheet-based tracking with a custom ERPNext module. All company assets now tracked with full lifecycle visibility across departments.
  • Recruitment — Replaced the existing standalone recruitment software entirely with the ERPNext HR module. Integrated OpenAI-powered resume parsing that auto-extracts skills, experience, and qualifications into structured fields — reducing manual screening by ~70%.
  • Integrations built: Zoom — interview scheduling from candidate records; Zoho Cliq — real-time hiring notifications to managers; LDAP — single sign-on across the organisation.
  • Ongoing — Continuing to migrate and upgrade remaining legacy systems into ERPNext based on evolving business requirements.

Outcome: Three standalone tools eliminated. Resume screening time reduced by ~70%. Single sign-on achieved across the organisation. The system continues to expand with new modules based on business needs.

Stack: ERPNext v15 · Frappe Framework · Python · OpenAI API · REST APIs · MariaDB · LDAP

Engagement: Sole consultant — architecture through delivery and ongoing support

SaaS platform

AthruSaaS — multi-tenant ERPNext SaaS platform

Problem: Offer ERPNext as a managed service with tenant lifecycle, provisioning, and governance — without turning every change into a manual ops task.

Approach: Frappe-native control DocTypes (9+), automation hooks, and Azure-aligned provisioning patterns so new tenants follow a repeatable path.

Outcome: A product-style foundation for scaling instances with clearer boundaries between platform code and tenant-specific customisation.

Stack: Frappe / ERPNext · FastAPI · HMAC Authentication · Azure · Python · MariaDB

Engagement: Architect and sole developer

Franchise operations

DVG Benne Dosa — multi-outlet growth

Context: Co-founded QSR franchise in Karnataka; scaled to eight outlets with meaningful revenue growth.

Relevance to ERP work: First-hand understanding of stock movement between kitchens and outlets, franchise reporting expectations, and how “simple” ops break without disciplined systems.

Client value: Faster alignment between ERP design and how store teams actually behave under pressure.

Product engineering

Medverse Care — home healthcare (medverse.care)

Role: Cofounder — I lead operations, technology, and frontend. The product is recognised among IPV Ventures Top 15 startups.

Context: Home healthcare platform — demonstrates shipping structured product workflows, not only ERP configurations.

ERP relevance: At ATHRU Technologies we run our own business on ERPNext; the same discipline applies in healthcare products: clear data model, phased rollout, and integration realism.
